THE FIRMEN DJ'S LAUNCH OFFICIAL WEBSITE!!

Hip Hop music is an ever changing game. It’s evolution is volatile and unapologetic. The progression of Hip Hop music is only about 1 thing, the people who live it. Those who consume it, those who create it, everyone who is affected by it. As time grows on, those faces often change, for both fans and artists, but after they are gone, their legacy is left behind. That legacy is not only determined by those who follow it, but by the style with which it was represented. The Firemen DJ’s represent a strong legacy. One that is permanent, perseverant, and true.

The Firemen Dj’s Sinister Shan, and DJ Greg Nasty are two DJ’s who have been putting it down for decades, providing fire for the streets era, after era since the late 80’s. After their spinning gained them each reputations for going in hard body throughout New York City and Rockland County as teenagers, they immediately came together to form The Firemen DJ’s and have been going hard ever since.

Since the golden era of hip hop, The Firemen Dj’s have covered much more ground than just New York where they were both raised. Dj Greg Nasty went out West to California for a brief stint, doing everything from rapping in his own group BRONXZOO (he does that too) to producing, to throwing showcases for himself and other artists. He subsequently moved to Highpoint N.C where he focused on his Dj skills once again, and established himself in the Southern Hip Hop scene.
Following Greg’s brief departure, Sinister Shan stayed behind in N.Y. and kept his grind moving as well. Shan dj’d for the likes of the legendary great Big Pun, and toured with a group “Skills University” that was signed to Wyclef and Jerry Wonder’s T-bass imprint. He has done artist development for Zhane, worked under the legendary duo Milk and Gizmo “Audio 2“, and Dj’d parties for Sade, Digable Planets, Fatman Scoop and Angie Martinez of New York’s hip hop mecca Hot 97.

These days, The Firemen DJ’s have been keeping true to form burning up mixtapes prolifically as they have each done since their careers started back in NY. Sinister Shan hits hard early and often with his “RING THE ALARM”, “STAY TUNED” “MUST BE THE MUSIC” and “STR8 HITZ” series sets among others. Shan gives you the best in Ol Skool classics, R&B hits, the hardest and most thorough hip hop (of course), radio hits, and not to be underscored, the Sinister Shan original blends.

DJ Greg Nasty of course gets it in from the N.C., giving you his “ON FIRE” “GET IT CRUNK” “CHECK MY SWAG” and “PLAYERS ONLY” series sets. Greg likes to get it in for his dirty south folk, but he also gets it poppin with r&b, and ol skool classics, and oh yeah did I say blends ?!?!! REAL TALK THE FIREMEN BLENDS GO HARD PEOPLE ! You have been warned.

The music industry itself is in a state of chaos, uncharacteristic even for entertainment. Hip hop music is no different falling a victim to downloading and economic woes. Yet the Firemen DJ’s have remained, because they continue to serve the purpose that created them. Giving Hip Hop heads that classic shit they need ! Weather its with mixtapes, parties, or developing their own label (COMING SOON ! ), the Firemen Dj’s will keep going hard. Not for their legacy, not for their Fame or sense of achievement, but simply stated, FIRE, this is what they do. They put out that fire. Fallback.
